Isabel Cannella

Hi, I am a senior Health Science major on the pre medical track. My academic journey has been shaped by a deep interest in medicine and a strong commitment to environmental health. Currently, I am conducting research in Dr. Joseph Bisesi’s lab: The Center for Human and Environmental Toxicology. I assist on multiple projects including wastewater contamination studies and PFAS-free firefighting foams studies. Beyond research, I am involved in organizations such as Mentor GNV and Medi-Gators, and I have gained valuable clinical experience as an anesthesia technician at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. My research includes PFAS and other chemicals, with a focus on New Approach Methodologies and cell painting.
